Cashing in on the iPhone Crowds.

Hats off to Chick-Fil-A, Starbucks, Red Bull and the other savvy brands that used the crowds and media attention around the launch of the new iPhone to promote themselves. Starbucks was passing out free coffee to loyal Apple fans and Chick-Fil-A made a splash with their cow costumed characters. In NYC, actor Spike Lee was first in line at the SoHo Apple store. He was buying a new iPhone to auction off for the Brooklyn based charity Keep A Child Alive. Others charitable organizations, protestors and promotors stood at the front of iPhone lines to take advantage of the free press. Bet them new iPhone are ringing off the hook.
