Christmas is just 10 days away. The Hookers want to help you get in the holiday spirit by sharing with you a list of the top 10 Christmas Specials, as compiled by Christmas Almanac. Head to your local video store, stoke up the fireplace, grab a wintery cocktail and settle in for some classic television moments:

1. A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)

2. Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)

3. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964)

4. Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town (1970)

5. A Muppet Family Christmas (1987)

6. Bing Crosby’s 1977 Christmas Special (1977)

7. Frosty the Snowman (1969)

8. The Carpenters at Christmas (1977)

9. Christmas Together (1979)

10. The Little Drummer Boy (1968)

Special Mention: The Star Wars Holiday Special (1977) George Lucas has said that if he had the time and a sledgehammer, he would track down every copy of this TV special and smash it. The Star Wars Holiday Special is available only as a bootleg – maybe the goofiest two hours of television ever.
